Prime® serves as a versatile solution, particularly during tank cycling, effectively mitigating the toxicity of ammonia and nitrite. With a unique binder, it renders these harmful substances along with nitrate non-toxic, facilitating their more efficient removal by the biofilter.

Additionally, Prime® acts to detoxify heavy metals commonly found in tap water at typical concentration levels. It is recommended for use during tank start-up and whenever water is added or replaced. For transporting or quarantining fish, Seachem StressGuard™ is ideal, while Stability® is recommended when introducing new fish. Both products complement Prime® to ensure the optimal health and well-being of aquarium inhabitants.
